Perceptive observation is an essential tool for character and costume design. Christine Clark's early preoccupation for “people watching” has inspired many of her costume designs for both stage and screen.
Raised on Long Island, Christine was taken to her first Broadway show at age 6 and her love affair with the arts began. After studying Theatre Arts and Costume Design in New York, Christine designed costumes for stage including All in the Timing and Raised in Captivity at the renowned Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, SC.
In 2000, Christine created the costume designs for Killer Films’ reality satire Series 7: The Contenders. Her astute depiction of character and attention to sartorial detail earned her entry into the Costume Designers Guild the following year.
Her many design credits as Assistant Costume Designer include; Watchmen, 300, Rendition, Babel, In Her Shoes, Shall We Dance and Sky High.
In 2010, Christine signed on as Co-Costume Designer, with Michael Wilkinson, on Disney’s TRON: Legacy. Their innovative use of technology in costume design garnered them a Costume Designers Guild nomination for Excellence in Fantasy Film.
Recent credits include Star Trek: Picard, AMC's Into the Badlands, SPY, Marvel's Most Wanted and Ender's Game.
